Glass Art Sampler
With a short introduction to glassblowing, flameworking, and kilnworking, participants will get a taste of 3 different ways of working with glass in just one day. In this 4 hour class, students will rotate through the hotshop, the flame studio, and the kiln studio, obtaining a basic grasp of what each studio offers. They can expect to produce one paperweight in the hotshop, one tile in the kiln studio that can be made into a magnet or pendant, and several beads in the flame studio. The class is designed for those with little or no experience in glassworking. The cost for the course is $100, which includes all tools and materials.
