In this introductory course you will learn to cut, assemble, and fire glass in order to make one plate (and possibly a second smaller plate). Class will include an introduction to the use of sheet glass, frits, powders and stringers within the kilnworking process. Basic kilnforming knowledge will be covered, including shelf and mold preparation and firing schedules. Basic supplies and materials are included. Additional materials are available.

* LATE REGISTRATION FEE of $5 applies to registrations made less than 7 days prior to the start of the class.
* NO REFUNDS for cancellations occurring less than 14 days prior to class start date. After that date we will transfer you to the next available class.
* NO REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS
* Cancellations occurring 15 days prior to start of class are subject to a $25.00 registration fee.
