In this introductory course you will learn to cut, assemble and fire glass while producing coasters, tiles and plates. Class will include an introduction to the use of sheet glass, frits, powders and stringers within the kilnworking process. Basic kilnforming knowledge will be covered, including shelf and mold preparation and firing schedules. Basic supplies and materials are included. Additional materials are available.
