If you like fusing and slumping you will love making a "Thick Block." In this class students have the opportunity to transfer a two dimensional image into a thick block of glass created by fusing paradise paint (enamel) between mutable layers of glass. Another technique that will be covered is Glass Sketch. This technique can be used on its own to create drawings or in combination with the thick block technique to add more dimensions to the piece. Basic supplies and materials are included. Additional materials are available.
The class will last 6 hours on Saturday (noon-6pm) and 2-4 hours on Sunday (starting at noon).
